February 2018 Favourites

February 2018 Favourites

Can we talk about how quickly February went by compared to the year that was January? Similar to February, this list is short and sweet. Work this month was absolutely insane for me so there wasn't much time for anything else but here are my few favourites from February!

RECIPE I LOVED: Best-Ever Bolognese

As you might know, I love my crock pot and I try to avoid actual cooking as much as I can unless the recipe is insanely simple. Well, this Slimming World recipe for bolognese is not only simple, but it is crazy delicious. I’m not a member of Slimming World but I love their recipes because they are healthier versions of foods I already love.  This bolognese packs in the veggies but you won’t even notice because the flavour is unreal. So easy and it tastes even better as leftovers.

WHAT I WATCHED: Mindhunter

Time to get a bit creepy! I love anything that has to do with serial killers, unsolved crimes, etc, so Mindhunter seemed like it would be right up my alley. While I did enjoy the Netflix original show, I wasn’t ever left on the edge of my seat. By the time the second season comes around (it only starts filming this year) I know I’ll surely be over it. It is an interesting look into how criminal profiling started and made its way to be such an important part of the FBI/local law enforcement. Worth a weekend binge.

BEAUTY OBSESSION: Dove DermaSpa Uplifted+ Satin Smooth Body Oil

I had been meaning to try a body oil so when I saw this Dove one for half off I grabbed it. This is a game changer. It goes on easily and absorbs instantly. There is no sticky feeling after application and I can seriously tell a difference in the elasticity of my skin already. The smell is also irresistible!

I have been using Clue for a while, but I want to brag on it. I have used other period tracking apps in the past but this one is a winner. Not only does it accurately track your PMS/ovulation/period, you can also track your mood, sleep, skin, and so much more. I love that it reminds me to take my pill at the same time each night too. They offer useful insights and help for any questions you might have on the app too. Even better, it is a free download!

WHAT I LISTENED TO: A mixed bag of songs but I promise they're all good in their own way!

This month on the blog I shared my Every Day Makeup – As of Recently, discussed An Unusual Day Trip to Belfast, what to with Three Days in Amsterdam, and chatted brunch in Dining in Dublin: Fia. As always, if you would like to contact me to collaborate, to say hi, or have an idea for a post you would like me to do, you can reach me through the contact page, send me a DM on Instagram, message me on Facebook, or send me a tweet on Twitter.
