40 Things I Am Looking Forward to After Lockdown Ends

I miss Dublin…even though I am in Dublin. But I am in my apartment and the most exciting trip I take anymore is to Aldi once a week. I know we are all in the same situation (except for Floridians apparently – very happy to not be living there anymore!) and ready to get back to ‘normal’, or just leave our houses to do something fun.

Please do not take this as complaining; I am not. I fully understand why we must do this. Today marks my 41st day of social distancing and day 27 of working from home. I could have it much worse than I do. I am fortunate to be able to work from home. And to have a safe home to work from on top of that.

All that said, I am still looking forward to better days. Am I nervous to go out even when we get the go ahead from the government? Absolutely, and I probably will wait a few weeks to do anything even once we are allowed. The saving money bit doesn’t hurt either. I think it is good to have something (or multiple things here) to look forward to during these long days inside. Since I shared a snippet of my ideas on my Instagram stories and got a lot of positive feedback, I wanted to share the entire list with y’all here. I would encourage you to make your own list and see how quickly you fill a sheet up with ideas.

I have put my ideas into an old cleaned out pickle jar but you can do this however you please!

As soon as my hair is cut and colored, my eyebrows are waxed, and my nails are done I am going to start digging into my list of FORTY things listed below.
